Annual Sports event at St.Mary's Convent Inter College,Allahabad.

The annual sports event of St.Mary's Convent Inter College took place in the afternoon of October 30th.I arrived there on time with the anticipation of being witness to some thrilling sports events.Being there at S.MC. is always pleasant for me.This institute is a cut above the rest;a milestone in the field of education for girls.It has a glorious past behind it.The Alma Mater of legends,including Smt.Indira Gandhi.

With the arrival of Chief guest,The Mayor of Allahabad, Ch.Jitendra Nath Singh the gala show began.One after one the girls laid out a wonderful and mesmerising sporting display.The guests and parents all got swayed by the exemplary skills and precision of the girls.The display of grit,determination,commitment,and discipline was at it's best.The girls had organised an inspiring show dedicated to the vision of Mary Ward,entitled"Women in times to come will do great things."

Another notable shows were Go Green,a message to stop pollution,global warming,wastage of water,fuel and electricity.

A group of girls presented Taekwondo dance.Rather we can call it a P.T.Programme in tune with the Taekwondo drillThis programme was presented by students of class 9th.

The college Band was a delight to watch and to listen.The band masters,all students;played instruments with perfection.

It was a well attended gathering.Every moment passed there had it's aura of sophistication and elegance.
